Character: John Constantine/DC (Very comfortable with either comics or DCTV verses, just let me know if there's a preference.)
Playing Preferences: Private DW journal threads or over Discord for PSLs. I lean towards prose but I can happily use brackets if that's my partner's preference. I'm still getting the hang of using brackets though so please bear with me. I also enjoy text/phone/magical message exchanges for characters who would use them to help build character dynamics and keep a line moving when life gets busy. That said, I like the bulk of the plot to take place over threads and I can get a little wordy. No need to match when that happens as long as I get something to play against. I love lines that have humor as well as drama. Obstacles are great but I do like stories where those obstacles are overcome rather than breaking a character down and leaving them in the dirt. I love world building and writing secondary characters into the story to flesh out a plot. Platonic lines, M/F, or M/M are all groovy.

Permissions

BACKTAGGING: Absolutely! I don't mind slow moving threads. I tend to tag about once per day but I have lines that are much slower than that and love them dearly still.
THREADJACKING: Would rather not.
FOURTHWALLING: Open to discussing, depending on the situation.
MINDREADING: John has some magic defenses but I'm down if a character is powerful, or creating a workaround for it to happen. I've had this lead to fun scenarios in the past.
PHYSICAL CONTACT: Go for it. John can be quite flirty and affectionate, it won't bother him. On the flip side, if it's a negative sort of contact, he's often up for a fight, too.
SHIPPING/KISSING: Random hookups are welcome. Beyond that I tend not to leap into ships unless they are established canon pairings, but I'm open to slow burn situations against others and seeing where things go. I'm also perfectly fine with lines that are friendship, familial, mentor/mentee, frenemy, etc. instead of romantic. All can be fun to explore, so while I'm open to seeing if a line turns into a ship it's definitely not a requirement.
SMUT: If a line turns sexual I'm open to including smut, but I prefer it not being the focus. Should a line involve smut, I prefer both characters to be 18+ and not to have that involve non-con, dub-con, or incest.
FIGHTING/INJURY: Totally fine unless it's a debilitating injury, then I'd prefer a heads up to discuss. John has gotten into many physical scraps so it wouldn't be new for him. He's more inclined to try and use magic or manipulation to get out of a situation, but he'll throw down if he has to or until he can use a method that's more his niche.
CHARACTER DEATH: I love a good death scene, but definitely something I'd like to discuss first!
GAMES: I don't have the time to play in games right now.
PSL/MEMES: I am open to canon, cross-canon, and OC's. Some of my favorite lines have included meshing two worlds together. Assumed CR is totally fine. I love lines that include a good balance of humor, angst, action, and slice of life.
